The loop must close.

Anabasis is not a portfolio of activities. Research produces the knowledge the Academy teaches; the Academy produces capable people; capable people do consequential work, and the organizations they enter become the Advisory division's clients; advisory work produces the field evidence and the founders that Ventures capitalises; and the revenue that returns funds research first.

The test is mechanical rather than rhetorical: each stage must hand something the next stage actually consumes, and the last must return to the first. A stage that produces nothing is not a stage; it is a break, and it is named below.
