Accounting

The language of business.

The Course

Accounting is the language of business — the mechanism by which the firm measures itself. This course teaches it as a working literacy: accrual vs. cash, the three statements and how they connect, the mechanics of double entry, and the judgment layer where honest people disagree.

You will finish able to read a public 10-K or a small-business P&L with equal ease, and to post twenty transactions by hand.
