Digital Identity

Who you are on a public network.

The Course

Pseudonymity is not anonymity, and neither is identity. The course introduces DIDs, verifiable credentials, and selective disclosure — the primitives that most Web3 identity systems are built from.

Outcomes
  • 01

    Distinguish DIDs from wallet addresses.

  • 02

    Explain verifiable credentials.

  • 03

Design an identity architecture for a specific use case.

Prerequisites
  • Cryptography Foundations.
Pacing

~3 hours.

A Note from the Faculty

Identity is the layer where crypto meets institutions, and where most designs are still immature.
