What a Lesson contains
A Lesson at the Academy is not a video. It is a composite artifact. Ten forms of instruction, arranged so that comprehension becomes capability.

Recorded instruction, taught by a working practitioner.

Written exposition of the concept, referenced and citable.
- 03Visuals
Diagrams, schematics, and figures that render the idea legible.
- 04Interactive
A working model the student can operate to build intuition.
- 05Quiz
A short assessment of comprehension before advancing.
- 06Lab
A hands-on exercise in which the student produces something real.
- 07Assignment
Applied work, submitted and reviewed for structure and rigor.
- 08Reflection
Written response — what the student now understands, and does not.
- 09Reading
Primary and secondary sources beyond the lesson itself.
- 10Capstone
Terminal work that binds the module into a single artifact.
The Credential Ladder
Every Program awards a credential at one of five levels. Each rung attests to a different standard of demonstrated capability.
- 01Foundation
The vocabulary and orientation of the field.
- 02Practitioner
Reliable execution of the field's core operations.
- 03Professional
Independent judgment in the ordinary case.
- 04Expert
Judgment in the difficult case, and instruction of others.
- 05Master
Advancement of the field beyond its present frontier.
The Capstone
Every School terminates in a Capstone. It is not a project. It is the composite of the work by which the student stands for review.
